Why Vegetarian?

Basic vegetarian ingredients, especially dry ingredients, are chock-full of the vitamins that you're missing from eating claimed "vitamin-enriched" and "high-fiber" foods on the grocer's shelves. A pound of peas or a few bags of Textured Vegetable protein are not only cheaper than the 12 oz steak from the butcher, but also last longer, breed less bacteria, and even smell better when they're stored (actually, they don't smell at all!).

Its back to basics here on "I Can Make That Stuff." Delicious food doesn't need 10,000 different ingredients to taste delicious and to have all that other "healthy stuff" your mom used to feed you at the dinner table during your prime. My recipes are just a guide for you to create your own recipes and to mix with ingredients that you have on hand, not necessarily on a list you need to get at the grocery store or local market.
